covergirl + olay simply ageless

Beauty products, whether face wash, moisturizer, or foundation, are a part of our everyday lives. However, one of my favorite beauty/makeup products is my new foundation, the CoverGirl Simply Ageless + Olay Liquid Foundation.

I decided to switch foundations a little bit ago because the one I was using previously wasn’t enhancing my skin the way I was hoping it would. Personally, I like skin tint/skin care foundations as opposed to full coverage and heavyweight foundations. In all honesty, I do not do much research on different products. My technique consists of walking around Target or Ulta and seeing what products pique my interest based on their finish, ingredients, and whether or not the brand is cruelty-free.

When I saw this CoverGirl Simply Ageless + Olay Liquid Foundation, I was interested in what it would be like, so I purchased the product and decided to test it out. After using it the first time, I absolutely loved it; however, the first time using a product isn’t always telling of what it is actually like. It is better to give the product a few more test runs to see if it continuously holds up and gives the desired result.

But, after using this product for about two months, I can confidently say that this is my favorite foundation/skin tint product I have ever used. It is very lightweight on my skin and makes me feel like I don’t have any product on my face, plus the hyaluronic acid and vitamin C help not only reduce the appearance of wrinkles and lines but also moisturize and heal the skin. 

The sheer finish and skincare ingredients give an intense, glowy finish and allow the natural skin to be shown, but evened out and enhanced. However, if desired, the product is able to be built up for a medium or fuller coverage look. 

What the foundation looks like on my skin

In order for the desired appearance to be fulfilled with this product, the correct shade needs to be chosen. In my experience, this product seems lighter than what it is in the bottle, so if deciding between shades, it would most likely be best to choose a shade darker than normal to be sure that it matches your skin tone perfectly. 

Overall, I would highly recommend this product for those who like a more natural base look and desire a glowy and dewy finish. It is a fantastic product and has definitely become a staple in my makeup bag.
