the perfect baby tee

T-shirt season is starting, and it is so much nicer not having to step outside in 3-4 layers just to be somewhat warm. Spring is definitely here with the mixed weather of raining and storming, the weather being 80 degrees, and the sun shining on our faces.
Finding the perfect t-shirt, at least as a 22-year-old, mainly involved the search for a good basic baby tee. The perfect baby tee can be hard to find because sometimes they are too cropped, too long, or not comfortable. However, one of the best baby tees that I have been able to find is at one of the most convenient places, and it is cheaper than most out there. $5 at Target is perfect.

The Target baby tee is long enough so that not much is exposed, but it hits the perfect part of the waist that enhances natural curves. It also isn’t a tank top, so it has short sleeves, which I enjoy. This allows me to wear it in colder weather with a thin long-sleeved shirt underneath, too.
However, while the material is 95% cotton and 5% spandex, it is comfortable, yet not as stretchy as I would like. Additionally, the material can be a little transparent based on the color and size you purchase. My recommendation is to size up in these shirts because there is also the potential of shrinking.

There are multiple color options available for this baby tee, including black and white on the Target website, but there are typically more color options in store. In this exact shirt, I have bought multiple white ones, a green one, and a black one, and I wear all of them quite consistently.
Overall, I love these shirts because they are a perfect cropped baby tee for a great price. The comfort is nice and allows them to be worn in multiple seasons, plus the length of the shirt accentuates the waist of the body and makes you not only feel good, but look good. However, if buying this item, it would be best to size up to make sure the shirt does not shrink, fits correctly, and is not transparent.
